About This Event
Join The Veterans Phalanx at the Jacksonville Beach Pier for a community beach cleanup. This is a simple service project: show up, grab some supplies, and help leave the beach better than we found it. The Veterans Phalanx will provide the basic cleanup supplies needed to participate. Participants are absolutely welcome to bring their own gloves, cleanup tools or grabbers, water, refreshments, sunscreen, or other personal supplies that will make the afternoon more comfortable. The cleanup will run from 12:00 PM until approximately 1:30 PM. No registration is required. Come ready to work, meet some good people, and spend an hour and a half doing something useful for the community.
Veterans, service members, families, volunteers, community members, young adults, and anyone who wants to spend part of their Saturday doing something useful.
Free to attend and no registration required. The Veterans Phalanx provides the basic cleanup supplies. Bring your own gloves, cleanup tools or grabbers, water, refreshments, or sunscreen if you would like.
Show up. Do the work. Leave it better.
